Following a string of social media posts that hint at it, Italian supercar-maker Lamborghini has finally announced its first NFT (non-fungible token) project. Space Key is being developed by a non-publicized artist and based on advanced carbon fiber composite materials that were sent to the International Space Station as research material, is a new project that was announced by Lamborghini.

Each of the five Space Keys features a different moment that takes place at different times as the Lamborghini Ultimae takes off towards the stars. More than 600 million pixels up each of the five images that were taken by photographer Fabian Oefner.
Oefner used a balloon equipped with a camera to capture each of the individual images, which were then merged into the final image. The result is an image that is completely out of the world. It captures the beauty of Earth and the futuristic, hyperrealistic picture of a car rising away from the Earth. The Space Keys are going to be auctioned off in the near future, but there isn't a specific date or location yet.
